We are delighted to announce the opening of the 3rd International Conference on Urban Design, Urban Design Asia 2024 (UDA 2024). Organized by the Urban Design Institute of Korea, under the leadership of President Sei-Yong Kim, the event is scheduled to take place at Hanyang University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, on April 19, 2024. UDA International Conference is one of the premier gathering of urban designers, architects, academics, and industry professionals dedicated to exploring and shaping the future of urban environments. Building on the success of our collaborative endeavors in UDA 2009 and UDA 2012, UDA 2024 aims to create a dynamic platform for the exchange of cutting-edge research, innovative ideas, and best practices across various facets of cities and urban design. The theme of the upcoming UDA 2024 will be “Future Cities: Transforming Urban Future in Asia”, intended to foster meaningful discussion that can shape the future of urban design and our cities. The conference will be an on-off-line hybrid event, allowing speakers to attend virtually or in person. All accepted papers will be published as an integral part of the conference proceedings. Additionally, some selected papers will be also published, after further revisions, in the Journal of Urban Design Institute of Korea (indexed by KCI).
